Disney pins are a fabulous way to add more magic to your trips. Theres always some tips and rules that go along with pin trading though.
Cast Members:
You can trade with any cast member (as long as they have some on them) for whatever pin you want. You can trade for up to two pins per cast member. Always make sure not to give them a pin they already have though.
If you see pins on a cast member and you notice some are backwards to where you just see the plastic mickey back DO NOT flip them over. Those are hidden pins and you can trade for them to be surprised at what you get :). Game of chance Disney pin version pretty much.
Secret Pin Boards:
Some stores will have certain boards behind counters that you have to ask for when pin trading. When you trade with the cast member in that section they will not bring out that secret pin stash unless you ask. You can only trade for two on each pin stash.
Magic Kingdom:
~The high top tent near the dumbo ride has pins behind the count on the left side of that store. Go up and after looking at the cast members pins ask to see the popcorn pins. They will bring out fake popcorn containers and the pins will be on top.
~The pin trading store in Frontier land also has a board behind the counter near where they sell the magic bands. Just ask to see the pin board and they will bring it out for you too look at.
** Sometimes in Frontier Land they will also be playing a fishing type game in the middle of the store where you can play to see how many times you can trade pins that are located in a box.

Disney Springs:
Disney Springs is filled with tons of cast members waiting for you to trade pins with them!
World of Disney Store:
Find out where the fake alligator is and from 11am-12 the giant pin book will be open. So many pins to choose from but you have the be there at the right time.
Pin Trading Store:
The pin trading store while obviously a great place to go and trade also has random pin openings. They have a set of boxes they will open and you can wait in a line to trade. There is no set time for them to do this so it is all about luck.

Get that free water all day long.
Everyone gets thirty while scrambling around the park trying to get to the next ride. But when your on a budget it can be difficult when traveling with a few people to add in those drink costs.
Water is the best things for parks as it will keep you going longer verses getting soda all day.
My best tip? NEVER pay for water. Water bottles cost around 3 dollars. What you should be doing is finding one of many places in the park that serve fountain drinks. Go up and ask for a cup of ice water. They give you a normal size soda cup for your ice water and its FREE.
When you go on a ride just toss the cup and go get another one when your ready.
This is the same at all Disney parks. Though Epcot has a smaller size cup for water. But its free so who cares?!
This will safe you at least 10 bucks a person if not more.
